A creature with Landfall

Landfall is an ability word that triggers when a land enters the battlefield under your control. This can be done by simply playing a land card or by using other abilities like Evolving Wilds or spells like Nissa's Renewal. Landfall can be triggered multiple times per turn.

Example:
You have Jaddi Offshoot on the battlefield.
You play a Forest followed by Nissa's Renewal and gain a total amount of 11 life in the process.

  • 1 for playing the first forest
  • 3 for the other three lands from Nissa's Renewal
  • 7 as Nissa's Renewal resolves

Landfall can often be found on Color G cards.

Landfall was introduced into Magic Duels with the second expansion Battle for Zendikar.
