Indestructible is a static ability that lets a permanent become immune to lethal damage and destruction spells.

Ingame DescriptionEdit

An indestructible permanent can't be destroyed.
If a spell's effect would destroy an indestructible permanent and do something else, only the part that destroys a permanent does nothing.
If an indestructible creature has been dealt enough damage to destroy it, the creature is not destroyed.
Indestructible permanents can still be sacrificied, returned to their owner's hand, exiled (removed from the game), and put into their owner's libraries.

702.12a Indestructible is a static ability.

702.12b A permanent with indestructible can’t be destroyed. Such permanents aren’t destroyed by lethal damage, and they ignore the state-based action that checks for lethal damage (see rule 704.5g).

702.12c Multiple instances of indestructible on the same permanent are redundant.[1]
