You lead a small group of street toughs known as Kytheon's Irregulars. Together, you act as a force for justice and charity in the slums. While raiding an Akroan estate for food, you draw the attention of the city guards.
As an introductory duel, the strategy for this mission is fairly simple: play your creatures and attack. Each of the Akroan Guards' creatures neutralize one of Kytheon's and vice-versa (except for Kytheon's Eagle of the Watch), but they have fewer (7 compared to Kytheon's 16) and deploy theirs more slowly.
Kytheon's starting hand consists of two Elite Vanguards, two Glory Seekers and three Plains. Other than Plains, he draws the following cards on the noted turns (the first additional card is drawn on turn 2, since he goes first): Oreskos Swiftclaw (2, 5, 11, 16), Eagle of the Watch (4, 6, 12, 15), Glory Seeker (7, 10), Elite Vanguard (9, 17).
The Akroan Guards play a Plains every turn as well as the following: a 2/2 (Traveling Philosopher or Glory Seeker) on turns 2, 3, 5, 6 and 9; and a Valiant Guard on turns 3 and 11.
