Mardu Shepherds is a 
(Mardu) control deck.
This deck is built around Emeria Shepherd, which brings back non-land permanents from the graveyard. Sweepers like Radiant Flames and Languish help to stabilize in the early game. Cards like Pilgrim's Eye and Evolving Wilds can fix the mana base, ensure land drops and trigger Emeria Shepherd's Landfall ability.
